Welcome to the Elders' Institute e-News
Welcome to the September 2006 issue of the Elders' Institute e-News.

Online Resources
Maybe you have tried it, too? Spending many hours searching for resources on the internet without much luck... The truth is that it isn't always that easy to know how to get about searching for resources on a specific topic. Most often, the result is either disappointing or overwhelming.

On the Elders' Institute web site www.eldersinstitute.ca we have recently updated our section containing resources from other web sites. It would include topics such as:

  • Children & Youth
  • Church Leadership
  • Development, Service, Justice
  • Education
  • Evangelism
  • Pastoral Care
  • Polity
  • Theology & Bible Study

If you would happen to know about other resources that might be interesting for others to know about, please don't hesitate to suggest that resource to the Elders' Institute and we will consider listing it on www.eldersinstitute.ca.

Our next online course is...

Presbyterian Record, October 2006

The course is intended for anyone who is interested in eldership: new elders looking for some orientation to their ministry, potential elders considering a call to eldership, and current elders wanting a 'refresher.'
