Welcome
to the Elders' Institute e-News
Our paper newsletter is fresh off the presses and we'll be distributing it soon. If you don't receive our semi-annual, printed newsletter and would like to, or if you're currently receiving it and would rather read it online, send us an email to let us know at elders@standrews.edu. We are proud to announce that our spring issue is printed on 100% recycled materials with non-toxic inks.
Record Registrations for Pre-Assemby Workshops (PAW) 2009
This
year the Elders' Institute has received a record number of early bird registrations for PAW, with over 100 registrants so far. Knox, Agincourt, Ont., takes the lead by sending 15 people. PAW 2009 will take place at Chedoke Presbyterian Church in
Hamilton, Ont., on June 6. There's still room for more, so join the fun and register today. A couple of the more popular workshops are almost full already, so register today for a better chance of getting the workshops you want. (Mind you, all our workshops promise to be interesting and have experienced leaders.)
For more information and to register, visit www.eldersinstitute.ca or phone Kathleen toll-free at

Elders' Institute Is on the Road
This month the Elders' Institute team is flying out to Nova Scotia to meet with people in the grassroots. We'll be exploring new possibilities for resources and looking at how to improve existing resources as well as investigating options for PAW 2010, to be held in Cape Breton. (This means we'll be out of the office April 16-21.)
