Courses
Basic pastoral care is good pastoral care. Discover
new skills and renew your commitment to the art of pastoral
care in congregations with the Elders' Institute's newest course:
Pastoral
Visiting for Presbyterian Elders. This online course
is written and taught by Jean
Morris, former moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Canada.
The popular elder basics course, Serving
as a Ruling Elder, offered for the third time this
year, is full once again. If you're interested in this course
but missed out this year, let us know by phone (toll-free: 1-866-794-8888)
or email (elders@standrews.edu), and we'll put you on the waiting
list. We hope to set a date for 2010 soon.
Due to the popularity of this
fall's new course
Serving
as a Clerk of Session: Boning up on the Basics,
the Elders' Institute has enlisted Ted
Siverns to teach this course two more times next year: April
6 to May 15 and September 20 to October 29, 2010.
