The Rev. Dr. Brian J. Fraser was founder of the Elders' Institute. He served as Dean of St. Andrew's Hall and Professor of Church History at Vancouver School of Theology for 17 years.
In 2001, he launched "GrowingChurches.Org," a consulting and coaching firm that worked on leadership and organizational development in congregations and church agencies. He holds a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC, and facilitates seminars on personal and organizational development through his other company, Jazzthink Consulting. He is a coaching and consulting associate with Tekara Organizational Effectiveness Inc. in Vancouver, BC, and is author of several books including Governing in Christ: Provoking the Potential of Presbyterian Polity, now available as an e-source through the Elders' Institute.
