The Rev. Dr. Hans Kouwenberg has been in dialogue with the reformed and Presbyterian tradition from the days of his childhood and youth, through years of theological training and during many years of engagement with and reflection on Christian ministry in the context of The Presbyterian Church in Canada. He has served as a pastor in rural and remote, as well as urban and suburban charges, from ON to BC. He knows our church and sees the importance of small group opportunities as the best way of doing biblical and theological reflection in order to grow in faith and understanding. Hans is currently minister at Calvin Presbyterian Church in Abbotsford, BC, and was moderator of the General Assembly in 2007.
Hans Kouwenberg has instructed The Wisdom of the Elders: A Guide to Provocative Polity and has designed and instructed Getting a Handle on our Faith: Understanding the Subordinate Standards of the PCC.
