Sunday's Coming: A Course for Lay People on Preaching
Have you been asked to participate in worship in your congregation? Do you sometimes get asked to preach? Would you like to? A "yes" to any of these questions means you're an ideal candidate for this course.
The course is a follow-up to Part 1 which focussed on leading worship, but can be taken on its own or as a continuation of the earlier course. Aiming to help you apply your learnings to your local setting, the course aims to equip you to prepare and deliver sermons. The course is sensitive to the context of those in traditional, blended and contemporary worship settings and to people from different size churches.

Week 2: Reflecting on the Purpose of Preaching.
Week 3: Beginning the Exegesis of a Text.
Week 4: Developing a Sermon Outline.
Week 5: Giving Final Form to Your Sermon.
Week 6: Completing Sermon Preparation.
