What Is PAW?

PAW stands for Pre-Assembly Workshop. The Elders' Institute was mandated by the 131st General Assembly to host a national leadership training event for ruling elders and congregational leaders before General Assembly each year (usually on the first Saturday in June). PAW offers a day of workshops on topics of interest to ruling elders led by leaders from across the country.

PAW 2012: Basics for a Changing World

The workshops offer tools and strategies for new and seasoned elders alike, with a lineup of knowledgeable and gifted workshop and worship leaders. PAW is developed with the specific needs of ruling elders in mind, and everyone is welcome—ruling elders, lay leaders and teaching elders.

PAW 2012 will take place at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Scarborough, Ontario, on Saturday, June 2, 2012. The address is 115 St. Andrews Road, Toronto ON M1P 4N2. See map.
